John Christopher Human

"It's hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember."

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our little superman, John C. Human, on January 26, 2026. John was born on October 2, 1984, to John and Evelyn Human. John wasn't given a lot of time to live, doctors said he might live a few hours, then it was days, and then it became years. When John reached his teen years, the doctors told the family to take him out and enjoy the little things in life.

Along the way, John met so many people, touched so many lives, and became a ray of sunshine for those who truly knew him. John couldn't walk or talk, but his smile was so bright, and his personality could go on for miles, you couldn't be mad or sad around him. 

John loved his family, music, and working on different projects like Legos or painting or decorating the house for the holidays. He loved going places like Walmart or Lowe's, and his favorite place was the beach. John loved meeting new people, he loved his van and his trucks, and being outside going for a walk or just watching the world go around. He loved all music, but gospel and people playing instruments were a plus.

 John was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Human, maternal grandparents, pansy and George Garland, paternal grandparents Carolyn and Wilbur Goodman, and Orville human, aunt Mary (murmur) Sullivan, aunt viva carver, and cousin Jeremy Putnam.

 He is survived by his father John human. Sister amber rich and his best friend/ brother-in-law Michael Rich, stepbrothers Dylan Yankee, Joseph green. And Christian green, nephew Braylen Yankee. Also, his aunts and uncle, Mike and Lisa Garland, Rita and rocky collins, Chris and Cheryl Garland, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Patricia and Lester trolley. 

The family would like to extend a thank you to d&s, interim, and support solutions for caring for John in the home, and to Franklin woods ER department, ICU, and respiratory staff for taking good care of John in his last days.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
