John Thomas Riddle

John Thomas Riddle, 65, of Gray, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Riddle was a lifelong resident of the Johnson City area and a son of Elizabeth Bradley Riddle and the late Lynn Riddle. Mr. Riddle worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed writing songs and was an avid country music fan. His daughter, Lisa, wrote, 'He was an exceptional man. His sense of humor and ability to tell a tall tale entertained everyone he met. He was a generous and loyal man. He was a wonderful father. He was adored by his grandchildren, Devin and Rain. I love you, my old Cactus. Thank you for being my father.'? In addition to his mother, he is survived by: one daughter, Lisa Marie Riddle, Johnson City; two brothers, Henry Riddle, and his wife Wanda, and David Riddle, both of Johnson City; and two grandchildren, Devin Riddle and Rain Riddle. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the South Chapel of Morris-Baker Funeral Home. Mr. Kim Casey, Minister will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
