Joseph J. Krueger, 66, 3436 McKinley Road, Johnson City, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at his residence. Mr. Krueger was a native of Clements, MN, and had lived in Johnson City since 1998. He was a son of the late August and Viola Jaros Krueger. Mr. Krueger was an Air Force veteran and a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church. He was a retired Vice President/General Manager with Corragated Industries and had worked the past ten years with Mail Works of Johnson City. Survivors include: his wife, Cheryl Snowden Krueger, of the home; five daughters and sons-in-law, Lavette Blazer, of Fenton, MO, Melissa Eckert, of Lincoln, NE, Elizabeth and Glen Rosier, of Johnson City, Cynthia and Tracy Nyberg, of Stromsberg, NE, Karla and Eric Smith, of Dallas, TX; Two sons and daughter-in-law, John and Karyn Krueger, of Johnson City, Leonard Krueger, of Tempe, AZ; three sisters, Veronica Elsing, of Morgan, MN, Marcella Griffith, of Oregon, and Mary Ann Sarecino, of Denver, CO; four brothers, August Krueger, of Clements, MN, Jerome Krueger, of Mexico, John Krueger and Kenneth Krueger, both of Minnesota. Seventeen grandchildren and one great grandson also survive. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Father Bill Gahagan, Father Gerard Finucane, Father Jerald Akata, officiating. The family will receive friends in the church entrance hall from 10 AM till the time of Mass. Active pallbearers will be John Krueger, Ken Krueger, Rob Krueger, Adam Blazer, David Kirkland, Ryan Everett, Augie Kruegar and Glen Rosier. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Nyberg, Jason Everett, Richard Connor and Will Cox. The family wishes to extend a Special Thanks to Thomas Schnell, MD, Jack Whitaker, MD, Jane Jones and Andy Montgomery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be given to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22039-1131. A basket for memorial gifts will be available at the church.
