Karen Lynn Graves, 72, of Johnson City, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025. She was a native of Andersonville, TN, a daughter of the late J.C. and Bonnie Graves. In her youth, Karen enjoyed athletic pursuits like playing basketball, softball, and volleyball for the city league. She enjoyed cross stitching and loved to spend time with her animals. Karen worked for the ETSU Health Clinic for many years before her retirement in 2003. In addition to her parents, Karen Lynn is preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Graves; two brothers, Larry Graves and Lanny Graves; and nephew Patrick Graves.
Karen is survived by sister-in-law Joyce Graves; niece, Megin Graves; great nephews, Alexander Hatmaker and Spenser Hatmaker; close friend, Tim Hatmaker; beloved pets; and special friends from all over.
A graveside service will be held for Karen Lynn Graves at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Brethren Cemetery on 144 Bart Greene Dr. in Boone's Creek. Minister Bo Denton will be officiating.
