Lanny Dean Murray Peeks

Lanny Dean Murray Peeks, 54, of Johnson City, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at his residence. He was a native of Elizabethton and a son of Darrell Peeks of Gray and the late Geraldine Peters Peeks. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his wife, Jill Payne Peeks and a brother, Roy 'Lucky'? Peeks.He was an LPN for N.H.C. Healthcare in Johnson City. He had served in the U. S. Air Force. Survivors include; two sons, Dustin Peeks and Kaleb Peeks both of Johnson City; five sisters, Denise Yontz of Johnson City, Evelyn Keller of Elizabethton, Charisse Peeks and Patrice Osborne both of Johnson City and Tina Vaughn of Elizabethton; Special friends, Bonnie Roope of Bristol, TN and Marnie ' Cricket'? Conway of Johnson City; and several nieces and nephews. All services will be observed privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, should be made to the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Suite #102, Johnson City, TN 37601.
