Lelia Virginia Anderson

Lelia Virginia Jones Anderson, 81, of 308 Hicks Road, Piney Flats, died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at her residence surrounded by family and friends. She was a native of Marion, Virginia, daughter of the late Charles Garland and Lottie Snavley Jones. Virginia was a retired cashier for the American General Life Insurance Company and a member of the Piney Flats United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Anderson Greene and a brother, Garland Stuart Jones. Survivors include: her husband, Milton Otho Anderson of the home; a daughter, Beverly Dawn Anderson of Grundy, Virginia; a granddaughter, Ashlee Dallas Brown and her husband Tim, Destin, Florida; a sister Nancy Jones Parks of DeLand, Florida; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Martin Jones of Marion, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, June 25, 2007 at 9:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Laura Reasor and Rev. Mack Houston. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A committal service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Shell Cemetery, Piney Flats. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
