Leo James Memolo, Sr.

Leo James Memolo, Sr., 74, died Friday,May 4, 2007 at the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Mr. Memolo was a native of Old Forge, PA and had lived in Johnson City for the past several years. He was a son of the late Leonello and Rose Patillo Memolo. Mr. Memolo was a US Marine Korean War veteran. He was a retired law enforcement officer. Survivors include one son, Leo Memolo, Jr., Johnson City; one daughter, Rosina Memolo, Washington, DC; and two sisters, Elanor Marra, Watertown, NY and Christine, Texas. A military graveside service for Mr. Memolo will be conducted at 2 PM Monday, May 7, 2007 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Kingsport VFW Post #3382 will be in charge. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
