Linda "Dianne" Broyles, born on March 10, 1949, entered into her eternal home on June 13, 2025.
Dianne was born into the loving family of Bowman and Virginia Eldridge. She enjoyed growing up in Danville, Virginia.
She graduated from Tunstall High School in 1967. She spent a small amount of time in Chicago, but ultimately moved to Piney Flats, Tennessee. Upon moving to Piney Flats, she pursued a career as an administrative assistant at Texas Instruments/Siemens. Retiring at age 40, due to disability, she flourished as a friend to many. She sent cards, made phone calls, curated yummy goodies, and said prayers for her growing friend base.
Dianne attended church at St. Paul Methodist Church for close to 40 years. She enjoyed singing in the choir (especially "Just A Little Talk With Jesus").
One did not have to ask her to know that Dianne loved being a "Granny." She was always proud of any and all accomplishments her grandchildren earned.
Dianne will be forever and lovingly remembered by: her daughter, Jennifer Burchett (husband Bill); grandchildren, Lincoln and Walker Burchett; brother, David Eldridge (wife Pat); sister, Vivian Scruton; nieces, Wendy Panuska and Amanda Scruton; and nephews, Matt and Ethan Scruton.
Visitation of friends will take place from 10:00 am-11:30 am on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at St.Paul Methodist Church in Piney Flats, Tennessee. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 am following the visitation. Allen Haney will officiate the services.
The graveside service will begin at 12:00 pm Wednesday June 18, 2025, at St. Paul Methodist Church Cemetery.
Flowers are accepted and may be sent to Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
