Linda Ruth Carver

Linda Ruth Carver, 73, of Blountville, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Greystone Health Care Center. She was a Buladean, NC native, and a daughter of the late Floyd Hughes and Alberta Wise Hughes. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Jean Stout. Linda was a homemaker, loved music, and was known by family and friends for her poetry. She is survived by: her husband, Jerry Carver; two sons, Jeff Carver, and his wife Kimberly, and Kevin Carter, and his wife Mary; one brother, Donald Hughes, and his wife Cathy; one sister, Wilma Oaks, and her husband Michael; and two grandsons, Benjamin Carver and Joshua Carver. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 5:00 pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A private committal service at a later date in the Hughes Cemetery, Buladean, North Carolina.
