Loretta Streich Iglar

Loretta Streich Iglar, 69, of Johnson City, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at her residence, peacefully and surrounded by her family. She was a native of Chicago, IL and a daughter of the late Walter Max and Miriam Alta Humberger Streich. Survivors include; her husband, Dr. Albert Iglar; one daughter, Deborah Anderson of Johnson City; one son, David Alan Iglar of Brentwood, TN and one sister, Virginia Louise Streich Mrs. Iglar was a member of Unaka Avenue Baptist Church . She was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. She served as a missionary in Mexico briefly under Send the Light Missions. She spoke Spanish fluently and played the piano well. Funeral services will be conducted from the Morris-Baker South Chapel at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 until 2:00 pm on Saturday.
