Louise Matherly

Louise McGee Matherly, 81,of Gray, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008 in the Johnson City Medical Center.She was a native of Washington County, TN and a daughter of the late Ralph and Minniaree Gentry McGee.Mrs. Matherly was a charter member of the Boones Creek Bible Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. H. Matherly, Jr. in 1977. Survivors include; one daughter, Diann M. Snellings of Madison, VA; two brothers, R. E. McGee and his wife, Jean and Lee Roy McGee and his wife, Ruby all of Johnson City; one sister, Lillian M. Hodge of Johnson City; two Grandchildren, Susan Chapman and her husband and Robert Myers all of Madison, VA; two step Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 pm Sunday from the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Pastor Dale W. Cunningham will officiate. Burial services will be held at 10:00 am Monday from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Members of the Boones Creek Bible Church will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 9:45 am Monday and proceed to the cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 until 4:00 pm Sunday.
