Lucky R. Hensley

Lucky R. Hensley, 76, of Johnson City died Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a Washington County native and son of the late Dave Hensley and Pauline Shelton Woodfin. Lucky was a retired caregiver at Dawn of Hope. He was of Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a brother, Johny Barnett, and a sister, Norma Kirkpatrick. Survivors include: a son, Mike Hensley, of Johnson City; granddaughter, Jennifer Hensley, and grandson, Steven Hensley, both of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Washington County Memory Gardens under the direction of Rev. Mike Richards. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m.
