Remembering the beautiful lives of Maggie and Riley Blevins, two bright souls taken from us far too soon on Thursday, December 25, 2025, in a tragic house fire in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Maggie (9) and Riley (11) were deeply loved by their family, by their friends, and by everyone fortunate enough to know them. Their laughter, kindness, and presence filled rooms and left lasting impressions on the hearts they touched. Though their time with us was far too short, the love they gave and the memories they created will live on forever.

Both girls attended Boones Creek Elementary School, and their love for school was obvious in their dedication of their schoolwork. They took great pride in bringing good grades home and knew what it meant to be a great student. They left behind many friends that they held close to their hearts and were always the best part of their day.

Riley had a passion for sports that was reflected in her determination, teamwork, and pure love for the game. Riley played soccer for FC Alliance. She was a talented soccer player, known for her skill, drive, and heart on the field. She played with confidence and joy. It was clear to everyone watching her play that was where she felt most alive.

Maggie was an incredible all-around athlete, excelling in soccer, cheer, and basketball. Most recently, she played basketball in the Boone Ballerz organization in Washington County. No matter the sport, Maggie gave her all—showing strength, dedication, and a competitive spirit balanced with encouragement for her teammates. She had a natural ability to shine while lifting others up; her versatility and work ethic were truly admirable.

They were blessed with incredible friendships, and it’s important to recognize the special bond they shared with their best friends—Brittyn, Penelope, Elizabeth, and their favorite cousin Shane — all who stood by them with loyalty, laughter, and love. These friendships meant the world to Maggie and Riley; these young people will carry their names with them for the rest of their lives.

Maggie and Riley will always be remembered for the joy they brought into our lives and the light they carried with them. They leave behind a legacy of love, strength, and passion that will never fade. Though our hearts ache with their absence, we hold them close in memory, in love, and in spirit. They were loved by so many and will forever be missed by all who knew them.
