Margie Nell Campbell

June 4, 1927 — November 2, 2014

Margie Nell Peters Campbell, 87, of Johnson City, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 in Franklin Woods Community Hospital. She was born in Mountain City and was the daughter of the late James D. and Nona Mae Davis Peters. Margie worked for Texas Instruments before her retirement. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Elizabethton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two brothers, James 'J. M.'? Peters and Paul E. Peters; and one granddaughter, Tosha Campbell. Survivors include: one daughter, Linda Richardson, of Johnson City; four sons, Freddie Campbell, of Hudson, NC, Larry Campbell, of Green Mountain, NC, Ralph Campbell, of Jonesborough, and Terry Campbell, of Johnson City; five grandchildren, Sherry Konnick, Kim McKinney, Ronnie Campbell, Ricky Campbell, and Vickie Broyles; seven great grandchildren, Megan Casteel, Kourtney Yarber, Kristopher Yarber, Quinn Campbell, Dillon Broyles, Dalton Broyles and Brandon Casteel; one great great granddaughter, Pandora Yarber; and four sisters, Willie Davis, of Limestone, Loretta Deloach, of Elizabethton, Francis Burleson, of Limestone, and Carolyn Copas, of Johnson City. The family of Margie Campbell will receive friends from 6 pm until 7:30 pm Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 7:30 pm Tuesday in the South Chapel. Rev. Kinley Knight will officiate. The committal service is scheduled for 11 am Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 am Wednesday for the service.
