Marilyn 'Dianne' Casteel, 53, 200 Betty Street, Johnson City went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 23, 2006 at Johnson City Medical Center.Dianne was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a daughter of the late Monroe Casteel and Louise Greer Castell with whom Dianne made her home.She was a client of Dawn of Hope and her family considered her a true 'Gift from God'. She is preceded in death by her father and her Maternal Grand Parents Buck and Hattie Greer. Survivors other then her precious mother are: two brothers, Danny Casteel of Johnson City and Monty Casteel of Greeneville; two sisters, Gail Whitehead of the home and Cindy Chesser of Elizabethton; several nieces and nephews; her special pet cat, Sage. A funeral service for Marilyn 'Dianne' Casteel will be conducted at 8 PM Sunday, February 25, 2007 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Rev. Donnie Humphreys will officiate. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 1 PM Monday in the Garden of the Gospels at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the cemetery.Active pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, prior to the service.To those who desire memorials may be made to Dawn of Hope, 500 E.
