Mark Keith Benjamin

Mark Keith Benjamin, 43, of 285 Cedar Grove Road, Johnson City died Saturday, December 12, 2009 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Benjamin was a native of Falls Church, Virginia and had lived in Johnson City since 1998. He was a son of the Galen K. Benjamin of Fairfax, Virginia and the late Valerie McLellan Benjamin. He attended the Church of God. Survivors other then his father include: his wife, Kathy Hammonds Benjamin of the home; one son Keith R. Benjamin of Gray; one daughter Cynthia Valerie Benjamin of Gray; three step children, Bryan Garber, and Sean Garber both of Johnson City and Julie Cassell of Piney Flats; two brothers, Charles 'Chuck'? Kendall of Frisco,TX and Kevin Kendall of Virginia Beach,VA; two sisters, Gail Kloplastos of Mattapoisett,MA and Vicki Stolarz of Crown Point, IN; his ex-wife ,Angela F. Washburn of Gray; a Special Aunt, Mary 'Fran'? Avery of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service for Mark Keith Benjamin will be conducted on Thursday, December 17, 2009 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Mr. Zane Tucker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Morris-baker prior to the service.
