Mark Thomas Western, age 51 of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away July 1, 2025 after an accident. Mark was born on July 24, 1973 to the late Curtis and Georgia Maxine Western in Johnson City, Tennessee. He graduated from Science Hill High School in 1992. After graduating Mark worked for several years at Mulligan Flooring.
Mark was a family man and his life revolved around spending time with family and traveling. He enjoyed the experience of food and restaurants especially trying new places. He loved Steelers Football he never missed a game. Mark's hobbies include video games, music, and entertainment. Mark will be remembered for his outgoing spirit and being a self proclaimed "Mommas Boy"!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Georgia Western, aunts, Charlotte DeLoach, and Carolyn Johnson, and uncles, Charles "Jack" DeLoach, Arville Johnson, Ganard Lance, and Mike Lance, and brother, Curt Western.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Carolyn (Robert Smith) Berry, nieces, Christina Berry and Kimberly Simerly, nephews, Christopher Berry and Timothy Hopson, great-nieces, Reagan Simerly and Maela Berry, cousins, Charles DeLoach, Eddie Lance, Elbert Lance, Robin Lance, Gennie Lance, Becky Lance, Eva Lance, Chris Lance, Kevin Lance, and Jamie Lance, as well as several great-cousins and friends. He is also survived by a close friend, Mickey Lovelace, and long time girlfriend, Lisa Melico.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
