Menzia Marie Clark

Menzia Marie Starkey Clark, 83, of Johnson City died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Lakebridge Healthcare Center in Johnson City. She was a native of Sharondale, KY, daughter of the late Walter and Rhoda Bowe Starkey. Menzia was a retired homemaker. She was a longtime member of the Cherokee Community Independent Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clark; a daughter, Marsha Clark; her step-mother, Nina Starkey; a grandson, Lon Christopher Rosenbaum. Survivors include: her daughter, Teresa Wainscott of Bean Station; two grandchildren, Robert Todd Rosenbaum and Misty Dawn Humphrey; seven great grandchildren, Zachary, Noah, Cara and Dusty Rosenbaum, Chassity Murdock, Dusty and Joey Humphrey; five great great grandchildren; and special friend, Sue Smith. The Clark family will receive friends on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the Cherokee Community Independent Freewill Baptist Church from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, a funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm under the direction of Pastor David Montgomery, Pastor Ed Davis, and Pastor James Woods. A committal service will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be men of the church.
