It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Martin Owens, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who departed this life on June 8, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on April 6, 1962, in Bristol, Tennessee, Michael lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication.

Michael will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, including his cherished wife, Annette Owens, and their daughter, Jessica Dotson, and her husband, Tyler. He held a special bond with his brother, Allen Owens & wife Starr, and will be missed by his brothers David & wife Lori, as well as his sisters Debbie & Tim and Lorrie & Kenny, Father & Mother-in-law Charles & Marie Nave, Brother-in-law Caroll & wife Teresa Tipton, Michael's legacy extends to many nephews and nieces, who will carry fond memories of his playful spirit and caring nature.

Michael was preceded in death by parents Ralph & Dolly Owens, and brother Robert Owens.

As a Maintenance Coordinator at Eastman for 38 years, Michael's commitment to hard work and his gentle demeanor made him a well-respected colleague and friend. Loved for his patience and humor, he embraced life with an open heart and a joyful laugh, often spending cherished moments tinkering with his old cars.

A Memorial service for Michael will take place on Saturday June 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Morris Baker Funeral Home, A visitation will precede the service one hour prior, providing an opportunity for loved ones to share memories and offer condolences.

Michael's love for his family and his dedication to his work will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew him.
