Michael Steven Isaacs

Michael ?Steven' Isaacs, 57, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was a native of Johnson City, son of the late Glen Albert and Earlene Hilda Jones Isaacs. Steven was a retired Sergeant First Class, having served in the Tennessee National Guard. He served tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Steven was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the Johnson City Masonic Lodge #486 F&AM. Steven is survived by a sister, Glenda Isaacs, Chuckey; a brother, Tony Isaacs, Fox Island, WA; a nephew and niece, Jason and Emily Isaacs; his fianc?, Robin Nipper of Bland, VA; special friends, Georgia and Johnie Hyatt of Johnson City. A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, at Mountain Home National Cemetery at 2:30pm under the direction of a VA Chaplain. The Boone Dam VFW and the Tennessee National Guard will accord military Honors. Masonic Rites by the Johnson City Masonic Lodge #486.
