Myrtle Margaret Nickles

January 8, 1929 — March 1, 2006

Myrtle Margaret Nickles, 77, of 691 Cash Hollow Road, Johnson City, died Wednesday, March 01, 2006 at the North Side Hospital. She was a native of Stoney Creek but had lived in this area all of her life. Mrs. Nickles was a member of the Gospel Light Tabernacle. She was a daughter of the late, John and Betsy Hurley Pritchard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Allen Nickles, Jr. and by one son, Elmer Nickles, two grandsons, Colin Allen Nickles and David Allen Nickles, five sisters and two brothers. Survivors include; three sons, Roger Nickles, Isaac 'Buck' Nickles and Orval Nickles all of Johnson City; three daughters, Carolyn Sutphin and Brenda Nickles both of Johnson City and Lori Morgan of Gray; eight grandchildren, Cayla Nickles, Cynthia Nickles, Whitney Nickles, Cierra Laws, Susie Lovelass, Debbie Nelson, Timmy Nickles and Melissa Nickles; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be conducted on Sunday, March 5, 2006 at the family home at 691 Cash Hollow Road at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 4, after 6:00 p.m. at the residence. Following the prayer service on Sunday, a procession will leave the residence to go to the Washington County Memory Gardens approx. 2:30 p.m. Services will be under the direction of Rev. David Nunley. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
