Norman Andrew Jr. Hamm

Norman Andrew Hamm Jr., 47, 3211 Mayfield Drive, Johnson City, died Saturday, May 7, 2005, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Mountain Home. Mr. Hamm was a native of Fayetteville, N.C., and had lived in Johnson City since 1973. He is a son of Norman A. Hamm Sr. and Betty Jane Bowman Hamm. He was a 1975 graduate of Davy Crockett High School. Mr. Hamm was a U.S. Army veteran and a former over-the-road truck driver. Survivors include: his father of Johnson City; two brothers, Terry L. Hamm of Johnson City and Steven E. Hamm of Unicoi, TN. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. A graveside funeral service for Norman Andrew Hamm Jr. will be conducted at 1 PM, Tuesday in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Rev. James Hamm will officiate. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 12:50 PM.
