Norman Edward Scott, Jr.

Norman Edward Scott, Jr., 89, of Watauga, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 27, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet Markland Scott, in 2018. He is survived by his sons, Norman Edward Scott III, Robert Alan Scott (wife Loretta L.), and Joseph Michael Scott; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A devoted member of New Hope Church of Christ, Norman will be remembered for his strong faith, deep love for his family, and steady presence in the lives of those who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 p.m. A committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery in the Historic Section. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery.
