Otis Frank Fenner

Mr. Otis Frank Fenner, age 79, of Johnson City, passed away, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in the Lakebridge Health Care Center. Mr. Fenner was a native of Caretta, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Harrison Fenner and Verna Stout Fenner. In addition to his parents, one sister, Jessie Wilson; one brother, Glee Fenner also preceded him in death. Mr. Fenner was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was an engineer for NASA. He also was a member of Cherokee Church of Christ. Survivors include: one son, Roger F. Fenner of Nashville; one brother, Robert L. Fenner of Marion, Virginia; two grandchildren, Maryann Fenner and Paul Frank Fenner; special friend, Geraldine Harvey. The graveside committal service for Mr. Otis Frank Fenner will be conducted at 1 PM Thursday, March 1, 2012 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Chaplain Dwight MacPherson will officiate. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The Boone Dam Post # 4933 will accord military honors. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 PM Thursday.
