Paralee Privette

Paralee McKinney Privette, 85, of Jonesborough, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 3, 2019.
She was born in Bakersville, North Carolina, a daughter of the late John and Fairy Mae McKinney.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: her husband of sixty-seven years, Donald Privette; one son, Vestal Privette; and two siblings, Barbara McKinney and Ray McKinney.
Survivors include: three children, Patsy Tipton, Larry Privette, and Michael Privette; four siblings, Richard McKinney, Ralph McKinney, Robert McKinney, and Gracie Ramey; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family of Paralee Privette will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM, conducted by Brothers Jonathan and Carl Reed. A committal will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 6, 2019, at Fairview Cemetery, 194 Highway 81 N, Jonesborough, TN 37659. Friends and family are asked to gather at the graveside by 10:50 AM.
Acting pallbearers will be Caleb Laws, Brian Privette, Gregory Privette, Larry Privette Jr., Wade McKinney, and Geoffrey Privette.
