Paul L. Campbell

Paul L. Campbell, 80, of 1306 E. Eighth Avenue, Johnson City, died February 3, 2006 at the Appalachian Christian Village. He was a native of Damascus, Virginia, son of the late Roy W. and Bessie Harron Campbell. Paul was a retired truck driver for the Mason - Dixon Company after 43 years of service. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the Boones Creek Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Campbell. Survivors include: his wife, Loraine S. Campbell of the home; a daughter, Cheryl (& Paul) Jones of Charlotte; one granddaughter, Kathryn Jones of Charlotte several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, February 5, 2006 in the South Chapel of the Morris - Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Dick Morris and David Clark. A committal service will be conducted on Monday, February 6, 2006 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m. Family and Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50am. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00PM Sunday.
