Peggy Gennett Slagle

Peggy Gennett Dugger Slagle, 69, of Johnson City, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Johnson City area and a daughter of the late Carrie Lavada Dugger. Mrs. Slagle was retired from employment with American Water Heater. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Slagle loved her flower garden and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by: her husband of 48 years, Charles 'Red'? Slagle; two sisters, Christine Dugger and Eliza Hensley; and one brother, Jimmy Lee Dugger. Survivors include: two daughters, Donna Slagle, of Chuckey, and Lisa Johnson, and her husband Bill, of Limestone; son, Bo Slagle, and his wife Megan, of Elizabethton; six grandchildren, Amanda, Carrie, David, Hunter, Jimmy and Lily; one great-grandchild, Eli Joe; sister, Shirley Jean Stewart, and her husband John, of Johnson City; brother, Charles 'Bud'?
