Ray Wallace Curtis

Ray W. Curtis, 60, of Johnson City, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 at his residence. He was a native of Johnson City and a son of the late Howard T. and Virginia Thornton Curtis. Ray was formerly the owner and operator of Rays Marine in Johnson City and he very much enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish. Survivors include; his wife, Carolyn Curtis of the home; one son, Tracy Hickman and his wife Jacqueline of Sevierville, TN; one brother, Andy Curtis and his wife Sharon of Gahanna, OH ; three nephews, Mark , Brian and Landon Curtis all of Gahanna, OH; several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; a Special pet, Molly. The family will receive friends at their residence, 801 Austin Springs Road, in Johnson City from 4:00 until 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2011. Mr. Curtis wishes were to be cremated and his cremains be scattered in a special hunting place in AL.
