 Robert "Bob" Curtis 
 January 3, 1942 - May 5, 2026

 Bob Curtis passed away peacefully at home following a lengthy battle with multiple illnesses.

 He was a lifelong resident of Johnson City and was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Irene Curtis; his brothers Larry and Eddie Curtis; his son Robbie Curtis; and a grandson Robert Eric Curtis.

 He is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 52 years; sons Michael (Lorie) and Scott (Barbara); step-daughters Deborah and Dionne (Tobe) Lively; daughter-in-law Teresa; grandchildren Jamie (Heather), Chelsea (Daniel), Devin, Janay (Nick), Madison, McKenzie, Gavin; and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Allen (Norma) and Roger (Patsy) Curtis and sister Lois (Charlie) Whitehead.

 Bob retired from General Mills after 33+ years. He was an amateur boxing coach in Johnson City for over 25 years. In addition, he was a United States Air Force veteran.

 The family would like to extend many thanks to their church family, neighbors, friends, and Dr. Deanna Hensley for their many acts of kindness.

 Memorial donations may be made to Clark Street Baptist Church, 200 Clark Street, Johnson City, TN 37604.

 The Curtis family will receive friends for a graveside service at 11:00 AM Saturday May 9, 2026, at Washington Co. Memory Gardens. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mike Anglin, Pastor Jonathan Webb, and Pastor Randy Hommel.
