Robert. E. Bob Banks

Robert E. 'Bob'? Banks, age 83, Jonesborough, died Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Banks was a Knife Falls Township, Minnesota, native who had lived in Washington County since 1980. He was the son of the late Emil and Margaret Soulier Banks. He was a United States Marine and a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and the Marine Corps League. Mr. Banks was a retired federal employee with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his parents, Mr. Banks was preceded in death by: his wife, Eva Randall Rhea Banks; daughter, Nannette King; and, sister, Majorie Zorichak. Survivors include: his aunt, Grace Jensen, Duluth, MN, two grandsons, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
