Robert E. 'Ed' Clark, Sr., 79, 135 Brandonwood Drive, died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at his residence.Mr. Clark was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County.He was a son of the late Frank and Fannie Carlton Clark.His wife, Bessie E. Clark and one son Robert 'Eddie' Clark preceded Mr. Clark in death. He was a retired self-employed carpenter and a WWII veteran, having served in the U. S. Navy.Mr. Clark was a member of Asbury Presbyterian Church. Survivors include one son, David Clark, Johnson City; two daughters, Juanita 'Nicky' Lewis and her husband, Tommy, Apex, NC and Sue Williams and her husband, Gary, Oak Ridge, TN; two sisters, Katherine Tribet and her husband, Don, Lancaster, PA and Juanita Jordan, Hollywood, FL; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mr. Clark will be conducted at 8 PM Saturday, February 3, 2007 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Dr. Steve McDonald will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Sunday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 PM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made through www.morrisbaker.com.
