Robert Howard Crain

Robert Howard 'Pete'? Crain, 78 , of Johnson City passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Lakebridge Healthcare Center in Johnson City. He was a native of Flag Pond and a son of the late, Brady and Rinthey Coats Crain. He was also precdeded in death by 4 sisters, Esther Burton, Mary Cutshall, Colene Shankle and Thelma Mashburn; 3 brothers, Charlie, Vance and Herman Crain. Mr. Crain attended Calvary Fellowship Church. Survivors include; two brothers, Lawrence Crain and his wife Betty of Johnson City and Wallace Crain and his wife, Vel of Jonesborough; one sister, Macie Brogdon of Johnson City; a nephew with whom he made his home, Jim 'Bo'? Brogdon and his wife Debbie and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from the Morris-Baker South Chapel at 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 10, 2011 with the Rev. Johnny Chase officiating. Burial will be at 10:00am on Wednesday at the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00pom on Tuesday.
