Bowman, 57, passed away Thurs. Dec. 26, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He is survived by: son, Jon Bowman of Jonesborough, TN; son, Travis Bowman of Jonesborough, TN; daughter, Summer & Husband Chase Bailey of Limestone, TN; brother, Mickey and Wife Hazel Bowman of Piney Flatts, TN; sister, Joanne & Husband Herman Holder of Johnson City, TN; sister, Karen & Husband Danny Broyles of Johnson City, TN. and Grandson, Dylan Bailey of Limestone, TN. Robert is preceded in death by: Mother, Ruth Bowman. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Johnson City, TN. His occupation in life was a painter in the construction industry. The family of Robert L. Bowman will receive friends and family from 5:00pm '? 7:00pm Saturday Dec. 28, 2013 at the South Chapel of the Morris-Baker Funeral Home in Johnson City, TN. Funeral Services will begin at 7:00pm following the visitation time at the funeral home. Pastor Tony Trott will officiate.
