Romania I. Drayne

Romania I. Drayne, 88, Johnson City, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Continnum Court Yards. Miss Drayne was a native of Greene County and had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late William H. and Trula Crabtree Drayne and was preceded by one sister, Mary Churchill. Miss Drayne was retired from Burlington Industries. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include two nephews, John Churchill, CA and Bill Winston Churchill, WA and several cousins. A funeral service for Miss Drayne will be conducted at 3 PM Sunday, November 16, 2008 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home North Chapel. Reverend Kenneth Grindstaff will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Gideons International P.O. Box 3695 CRS, Johnson City, TN 37602.
