Ruby Jewel Shipley

Ruby Jewel Shipley, 52, of 310 Ridge Drive, Piney Flats, passed away February 3, 2008 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Pontiac, Michigan, daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Ruby Faxter Shaffer Osborne. Survivors include; her husband, Ron Shipley, one daughter, Sheina Shipley, Johnson City; two sons, Mikey Shipley and Ronnie Dean Shipley both of Sulphur Springs; four brothers, Charles Ray Osborne of Michigan, John Lee Osborne of Sulphur Springs, Robert 'Bird'? Osborne of Piney Flats and Frankie Osborne of North Carolina; two sisters, Sheila Osborne Webster of Elizabethton and Brenda Shipley of Gray; two step brothers; four Grandsons and three Grand daughters; several nieces and nephews. A funeral is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in the south chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until time of service at eight. A committal service will be conducted on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home to leave in precession at 1:15 p.m.
