Shirley Etta Tester

Shirley Etta Tester, 66, of Johnson City, died Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Washington County, daughter of the late John Thomas and Sophie Adams. Shirley was a retired seamstress; she had worked for the Levi Strauss Company. She was a member of the Keystone Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. She is survived by: a son and daughter-in-law, William T. and Stephanie R. Tester of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Lucille Ball of Erwin; a brother, Jimmy Adams of Johnson City; two grandchildren, Steven A. and Jessica R. Tester of Fort Worth, Texas; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Keystone Freewill Baptist Church, 110 Bettie Street, Johnson City, TN 37601 at 4:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Keystone Freewill Baptist Church, 110 Bettie Street, Johnson City, TN 37601.
