Shirley Mae Payne

Shirley DePew Payne, 65, of 3422 Greenwood Drive, Johnson City died, Saturday, July 3, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Payne was a native of Johnson City and a daughter of the late Hillard M. and Mattie E. Stout DePew. Mrs. Payne was a homemaker and a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Raymond C. Payne of the home; two daughters, Mary E. Stoneman of Jonesborough and Cindy H. Burnette of Johnson City; two sons, Christopher R.M. Payne of Johnson City and Jamie J. Payne of Gray; one grandson, Chancey Stoneman; one step grandson, Marty Defibach; five grandaughters, Casie Dalton, Jameylee Bradley, Laney Stoneman, Kelsey Payne, and Emily Payne; one great grandaughter, MacKenzie Bennett. The family of Shirley DePew Payne will receive friends on Tuesday evening July 6, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at the residence. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 PM Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Rev. Gary Burnette will officiate. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 2:50 PM Wednesday.
