Shirley S. Mckinney

Mrs. Shirley S. McKinney, age 63, 105 Morgan Branch Lane, Chucky, Tn. passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. McKinney was a native of Hilo, Hawaii. She is the daughter of Tomoie Sakoda and the late Akria Sokada. Mrs. McKinney was a Document control specialist for DTR Tennessee. Survivors include: her loving husband of 23 years, James McKinney; two brothers George Sakoda of Hilo, Hawaii and Charles Sakoda and family of Hilo, Hawaii; two sisters, Judy and Alan Kinoshita and family of Hilo, Hawaii and Nora and Dan Hirakawa and family of Hilo, Hawaii; step children, James McKinney, Dennis and Denise McKinney of Columbus, Ohio and Kelley McKinney and family of Greeneville, Tn.; one brother-in-law, Joel and Sandra McKinney of Johnson City; grandmother, Anna Ruth McKinney. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday, May 1, 2011 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel.
