Sue M. Hughes

Mrs. Sue M. Hughes, 93, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Bluff City, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Flats United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Hughes in 1990 and three brothers. Mrs. Hughes is survived by one son, Eric Hughes and wife Anetia, of Piney Flats, TN; one grandson, Joe Lee Hughes and wife Sherry, of Piney Flats, TN; several nieces and nephews; and a special caretaker, Debbie LaMoure, of Piney Flats, TN. A funeral service for Mrs. Sue M. Hughes will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 2 PM in the Piney Flats United Methodist Church with Rev. Joey Manis and Rev. Mack Houston officiating. Burial will follow in the Shell Cemetery in Piney Flats, TN. Pallbearers will be Don Wiggins, Johnny McKamey, Raymond Perkinson, Wes Edens, Dell Gates, Greg Leonard, Josh Barrett and Todd Dale. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Shell Cemetery, 225 Methodist Church Street, Piney Flats, TN 37686.
