Thomas L. Perry, Jr.

Thomas L. Perry Jr., 87, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center. Thomas was a native of Orlando, Florida, son of the late Thomas L. Perry Sr., and Ida Tarwater Perry. He was an associate professor of Anatomy and Physiology at ETSU for forty-five years, and a member of First United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as one sister, Janet T. Perry. Surviving are his wife of fifty-four years, Jean Lane Perry; sons, Tom Perry and his wife Freda, and son John Perry and his wife Mary; Granddaughters, Ariel and Erin; and brother-in-law, Phil Lane and Roxy. The family of Thomas Perry will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A committal service will follow at 3:00 PM at Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, Virginia. Family and friends are asked to gather at the graveside by 2:50 PM. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Thomas L & Jean L Perry Scholarship Fund at ETSU.
