Timothy Alan Hampton

Tim 'Tree'? Alan Hampton, 52, of Erwin, Tennessee, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Erwin, son of the late Lawrence J. Hampton and Mrs. Lois Duncan Hampton of Johnson City. Tim was a welder and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony K. Hampton in 2010. Survivors including his mother are: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Lawrence A. and Melissa Hampton of Erwin, Joshua A. and Lindsey Hampton of Unicoi and Dustin C. Hampton of Erwin; a daughter and son-in-law, Christina R. and Andrew Silvers of Erwin; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Stephen L. and Martha Hampton and Jeffrey Hampton all of Johnson City; five grandchildren, Dawson S. Hampton, Elisha Chandler Hampton, Kaylee, McKenzie and Michael Hampton; his loving aunt, Madge Campbell of Erwin. A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, January 24, 2011 in the North Chapel of the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m., under the direction of Rev. Craig Shelton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m.
