Toona Frances Mahaffey

Toona Frances Mahaffey, 84, 605 Carter Sells Road, died Monday, December 18, 2006 at Appalachian Christian Village. Mrs. Mahaffey was a Dixon County, VA native and had lived in Johnson City since 1988. She was a daughter of the late William and Frances Hay Counts and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mahaffey, four brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Mahaffey was retired from Superior Services, Inc. She was a Baptist. Survivors include one son, Russell D. Kerns and his wife, Judy, Big Sandy, TX; grandson, Ryan Kerns, Big Sandy, TX; granddaughter, Traci Kerns, Big Sandy, TX and several nieces and nephews. Burial services will be held at Washington County Memory Gardens.
