Trudy Fay Tolley

Trudy Fay Tolley, 65, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Johnson City, Trudy was born on December 15, 1960, to the late Lester and Eula Tolley. She was a graduate of Science Hill High School and dedicated 45 years of service to Johnson City Medical Center, where she worked in the Housekeeping Department. Through her years of faithful employment, she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to those she served.

Trudy found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She dearly loved her Chihuahua, Spicey, and treasured every opportunity to spend time with her family. In her free time, she enjoyed playing games on her tablet, camping, and making cherished memories during cabin getaways in Gatlinburg. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she attended Wayside Missionary Baptist Church on Watauga Road.

In addition to her parents, Trudy was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Tolley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings, Susan Malone, Bobby Tolley, and Beverley Walker and husband, Rick; along with several beloved nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of NHC Healthcare in Johnson City for the loving care they provided to Trudy. A special thank you is extended to Tony for the exceptional attention, compassion, and kindness shown to her throughout her time there.

Trudy's family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. under the direction of Steve Wilson. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed on Trudy's obituary page and will remain available to view for 90 days.

A graveside service will commence at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at New Bethel Cemetery in Piney Flats. Those attending are asked to please meet at the cemetery.
