Vanessa L. Walker-Arruza

Vanessa L. Walker-Arruza, age 46, of West Palm Beach, Florida, died June 19, 2005, in San Francisco, California. She was a native of Johnson City, the daughter of Rosalie Williams Walker-Odom and the late Joe A. Walker. She was a flight attendant for American Airlines for 22 years. Survivors in addition to her mother, Rosalie Walker Odom, and her stepfather, Paul W. Odom, both of Johnson City; include a son, Aidan A. Arruza, of West Palm Beach, Florida; a brother, Lynn Walker, of Knoxville, Tennessee; her former husband, Tony Arruza, of West Palm Beach, Florida; two special friends: Bradley Tyron and April Tester, both of West Palm Beach; and several uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday, June 23, 2005, from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Dan Foster will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Steve Wyatt, Grady Walker, David Coulter, Tim Coulter, Charlie Good, Bill Agrella, Jerry Philpot, John Bingham and Brad Squibb. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
