Virginia H. Depew

Virginia H. Depew of 205 Rainbow Drive, Jonesborough, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Johnson City Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Virginia was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, daughter of the late Milton and Elsie Bawgus Franklin. She was a member of the Lynnwood Christian Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Carol Depew. Survivors include: her husband, Raymond C. Depew of the home; a daughter, Patricia Ardena (& Anthony Wayne) Brobeck; a brother, Luther (& Lorraine) Franklin all of Jonesborough; three grandchildren, Katherine (& Bobby) Pendleton, Michael (& Jennifer) Brobeck and Gregory Brobeck; a great granddaughter, Zoe Pendleton; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, June 16, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of the Morris - Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Rev. Walt McKinney. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at eight. A committal service will be conducted on Saturday, June 17, 2006 in the Monte - Vista Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home to leave in procession at 10:40 a.m. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
