Virginio Conte

Virginio 'Gene' Conte 74, of Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006 at the James H. Quillen V. A. Medical Center. He was a native of Niagara Falls, NY, and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Conte. He was also preceded in death by two brothers. He was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Mr. Conte was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired Engineering Technician for Entranco Engineering.. Survivors include his wife, Constance Conte; two daughters, Gina Conte of Sun City, AZ and Theresa Conte of AZ; one son, Ron Conte of Mesa, AZ; one step daughter, Donna R. Elliott of Amosville, VA; three step sons, Ronnie L. Reid of Opal, VA, William E. Reid of Haymarket, VA and Robert D. Reid of Leesburg,VA; 10 grandhildren, 5 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday from St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the U. S. National Cemetery at Mt. Home.
