Vista Pauline Gouge

Vista Pauline Garland Gouge, 87, Johnson City, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 in Lakebridge Health Care Center. Vista was a Buladean, NC native and the daughter of the late Jones and Geneva Street Garland. She was a homemaker and a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Ann Broyles. She is survived by: her husband of 72 years, Harry Gouge, of the home; one daughter, Pat Livingston (Mike), of Unicoi; two grandchildren, Lissa Powell (Jay), of Birmingham, AL, and Jeff Burleson (Debbie), of Alpharetta, GA; two great grandchildren, Sean and Sara Burleson; one brother, J. D. Garland (Selma); and several beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. The family of Vista P. Gouge will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Mike Richards and Rev. John R. Perkins will officiate. The committal will follow Wednesday in the Roselawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be: Mike Livingston, Jeff Burleson, Jay Powell, Mike Broyles, Ken Broyles, Richard Broyles, and Tim Broyles.
