Willard Franklin

Willard Franklin, 80, Johnson City, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Willard is a native of Washington County, and son of the late Fred and Mary Miller Franklin. He was a member of Glenwood Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Willard is preceded in death by many siblings. Survivors include: his wife of 28 years, Gail; children, Charles Franklin, Pam Buchanan, Jimmy Franklin, Lora McGee, and her husband Matthew, Crystal Matthes, Kimberly Moon, and her husband Edward, Sr., and Michael Tabor; one sister, Charolette Tipton; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. The family of Willard Franklin will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM with Aaron Knight and Ronald Tabor officiating. Pallbearers will be: Matthew McGee, Michael Tabor, Edward Moon, Jr., Edward Moon, Sr., Ronald Moon, and Robert Pinkston. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 9:30 AM Tuesday June 2, 2015 to go in procession to Monte Vista Memorial Park for 10:00 AM graveside services.
