William Dee Myers

William Dee Myers, Sr., Bluff City, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Bristol Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Myers was a Greeneville native and son of the late John Henry, Sr. and Mary Helen Franklin Myers. He graduated from Fall Branch High School. He was a United States Navy and National Guard veteran. Mr. Myers retired from Eastman Chemical Company. Mr. Myers was a member of Victory Baptist Church and Fall Branch Ruritan Club. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by: grandparents, Dee and Lucy Myers and Taft and Stacy Franklin; and one step-grandson, Hunter Thorpe. Survivors include: his wife of 13 years, Jeanette; two sons, William Dee Myers, Jr. and Michael Keith Myers; one step-son, Jeff Tipton; three grandsons, Fox Knox, Elijah McCoy, and Ian Myers; two granddaughters, Logan and Mikayla Myers; one brother, John Myers and his wife, Brenda; one special brother, Ray Myers; and two nieces. The family of William Myers will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, November 30, 2015 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
