William L. Gaby

William L. Gaby, 88, of 1408 W. College Heights Road, Johnson City, died Monday, February 6, 2006 at his residence following an illness. He was a native of Hot Springs, North Carolina, son of the late, Edward Lee and Bertha Frances Rufty Gaby. Mr. Gaby was a retired Chairman, Chair Health Sciences at East Tennessee State University. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Motelle Gaby Crisp. Survivors include: his wife, Virginia C. Gaby of the home; three daughters, Nancy G. Lefkowitz, Winston-Salem, NC, Jenny G. Holt, Atlanta, GA and Fran Gaby of Johnson City.
